Hi Guys,
Does anyone know anything about the loading assist function on the C70 convertible with the hard top folded down into the trunk (boot)?

From all the videos I have seen the entire roof remains folded and just tilts up to give access to the area underneath.

On my 2008 model when I press the assist button the entire roof tries to unfold in the trunk and I have to press the button very quickly to stop it hitting the trunk (boot) lid.

Anyone have any ideas???

Also, to access the rear seats the front seats move forward when tilted. Is it normal for the drives seat to not move forward as far as the passenger seat? It makes it very difficult to get in the rear behind the driver.

 

Sounds like a malfunction. On my 2011 the folded sections rise a few inches and stop allowing some limited access. It stops by itself. Push and hold again and it lowers.
