hi everyone as you can see ,my problem ,,brought the car 10 days ago and having no information on cars didnt realise the hunting on the accelerator was a sign ,,,,just wanting to know whatis best to do ,,and how much please

 

Contact your nearest Volvo dealer and check to see if the newest etm software update has been done before you start spending money. Good luck.

 

Volvo has enacted a 100000 mile warranty on the ETM. Hopefully there is a dealer near your residence. The cost of replacing the unit is paid by Volvo 100%.

it happend to me like a year ago and the car was limping. what i did was remove the fuse for the ETM (which is in the engine compartment) for like 3 mins. and then put it back in. that got me out of limp mode and the middle of the road.
