I have 3 questions for my 1998 C70
It’s my first post so …. Hello everyone [sm=happybounce.gif]
Ok I have a problem and don’t know what it means, when I turn the A/C on and after a few seconds I see both the “off” and the recycle / internal air light blinking together.
Also another small thing, some times at the stop light it stalls a little and shake but just for a second…. Is that normal?
One last thing, is there any chance I could buy a software that could reprogram a remote and also can read any stored codes?
Thanks in advance,
Adsonic

1. You have codes in the A/C system thats why the lights blink.
2.You might want to check for tune up and make sure the throttle body isn't dirty.
3.The Dealer needs to program the remove.
Yours is a 1998 if you get a decent scanner you should be able to read and clear codes.

Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it …
But one small note about the scanner, wouldn’t it be cheaper to buy a PCM cable and use a free (if passable) software to read the codes? I’m only checking cus I’m used to pulling the codes of my Impala SS PCM (OBDII) like that.
Anyway, I checked E-Bay and found this scanner … what do you think of it? Is it good enough for the job?
