their MAF sensor is screwed on to the aluminum kit. It comes with the premanufactured holes to screw on the sensor. The car sounds like darth vader. And it runs very well.

 

heres an update on how my custom interior is going.....very slow, but i'm making progress. i'm learning from a few mistakes that i have made and had to re-do some things. any how i still have a long way to go and the hardest parts are to come.

nah bro, the dome is black and the buttons are still brown. i need to get my digi cam so i can take better pics.

 

Oh ok I need a gray one to match the headliner when I finally get it done.
I will also need the rear lights in gray so I better start looking!!! LOL

Tech, i would see if krylon makes a gray fusion spray paint for those plastics so you can save yourself the troble of finding them.

DJRUZERS6, i plan on replacing the seats with adjustable racing seats, but with a twist. i'm gonna see if i can retrofit the frame of the factory seats to the racing seats, that way i can retain the adjustments and seat memory function that the factory came with. i think that would be pimp

 

The problem with that is I want it to look as close to OEM as I can then I would have to paint over all the pictures for the positions for the switches.

 

i didn't paint over mine just for that reason and it doesn't look too bad with brown buttons.

hey PANTYEATR the doors look awesome...I wanted to ask you a question though...You told me the other day that you will also change the leather seats to a different material...if you do would you think it is possible that I can purchase the leather from you because my seats are ripping apart now from the cracks and yours seem to be in shape...??

yes i'm gonna get adjustable racing seats and retro fit it to the factory seat frame so i can use the factory adjustments and memory. yes the seats will be in black and red. i'm going to get a quote to cover the rear seats like in the begining of november.

as for the seat skinsi don't think they are real leather. they might be some really good vinyl or something. but, i can take some good pics of the seats so you can see the imperfections, so you canfigure out if you want them or not. the skins aren't that bad, but you look at them and see.the bike i have a 2000 honda cbr 929custom painted to match my hot rod neon behind it

Ok this interior job is kind of growing on me. I personally don't like fabric fabric. I like leather, obviously the more expensive route to take. But it is growing on me.

Also I would personally do the seats in leather. Keep some of it. I know again expensive, but it will look and feel great.

 

actually if i had my way i would have used some suede or some kind of microfibre, but either it wasent in the color i wanted or not the material i wanted. the fleece is very soft and feels nice. leather seats will be very pricey, so i'm gonna get my racing seats in viynl or some sort of cloth...

i have all of the dash together now and i have to get some pics for yall.
