We just purchased this 2000 C70 convertible a couple of weeks ago and can't find an answer as to what the purpose of these holes on both sides of the inside rear quarter panels are (see picture with arrow). Anyone has an answer? Thank you!

 

I solved this myself, finally found out that there was an optional wind deflector to put in there when the top is down, decreases wind to passengers in the front.
