Rattle in dash

Rattle in dash
I have an 01 c70 vert.It has an annoying rattle coming from the dash on the drivers side .It may be coming from the area of in small dash speaker .Is there a way to pop the speaker grill off without breaking it ? Also to get at the speakers in the door do you have to take the door apart? Thanks

Yes the speaker grills on the dash should just pop off using a flat screwdriver. The door speaker I'm not sure of. I have similar rattles and noise coming from the dash and this is a Volvo "quirk" - poor engineering - there are numerous post out there talking about this problem and how to remove the dash and correct this.
