Hi I was wondering if anyone has seen a malfunction of the trunk and the top? Currently my top is all the way up but whenever I drive around I get beeps saying top malfunction and my dash says "Top Malfunction Service Required". I am unable to lower my top or move it at all when I attempt to. On top of this I am unable to open the trunk from the rear and from my key fob, when I attempt to press the release nothing happens. The only way I am able to open up my trunk is from the inside with my key fob in the manual release. Both of these issues started occurring at the same exact time. I was wondering if anyone knows of a solution to these issues? I just purchased a dice unit from ebay and installed VIDA2014 and I am hoping that I can figure out a solution, but in the mean time asking in here.

 

Look at Top Hydraulics on youtube. They have a video on how to manually open and close the top. This happened to me once when I left in a halfway position for too long. Once I manually opened and closed the top, it worked.

I can't promise anything, but it may be worth a shot.

Maybe first check and see if you can manually lock the top if it is in the up position at this point.
