How much is a 01 s40 gray gear shift ****? How hard is it to change?

 

45 bucks at Volvo.Put the car in L,set emergency brake,get in back seat,brace feet on floor,grab old shift ****,depress the gear change button and pull like Hell.No kiddin,this is how its done.With new **** just push it on until the change lever pops out in the proper position.BJ

 

How about the manual shift **** in an 850, how do you remove it?
