2000 S40 check engine light OBDII P1014
I have a 2000 s40 with 156000 mile on it. The check engine light came on the day after I purchased the car. The transaction was already complete now its my issue. So I am looking for some help,please..
I used a OBD II and got a code P1014. Camshaft reset valve Faulty signal per the OBDII.
I have checked Timing marks and they line up, changed the oil, cleaned the VVT solenoid, checked solenoid with battery, check solenoid connector with volt meter and replaced solenoid gasket. It seems like the previous owner never changed to oil, so I added marvel mystery oil to my oil change to help remove any sludge, but I still have a check engine light.
Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions before I remove the VVT pulley?
