Hello, all.

I saw this message posted a little while back, but wasn't able to find where the question was answered, so I'll try again.

I have a 2001 S40, and the Blower Speed suddenly only operates Full speed as soon as the ignition is switched on. Even on "0", the fan will not shut off. The two other ***** work fine (air direction flow and temperature ****), but the "Fan" **** acts as though it is stuck on High (or 5). Even turned to "Auto" mode, it still continues to blow on high.

Does anyone know what this is (needed part)? Or how much this fix will cost? And is this an easy fix (one I could do myself)? Thanks in advance for your help!

 

I forget exactly what fixed it as well. I think it might have been a bad climate control module.(Switch panel in the dash)
