I keep on getting a message that states my hood is open when it is not and it is setting off the alarm, any ideas how I can get the alarm to bypass until next moday when I bring it in to the dealer?What could be causiong that message it just started happening yesterday, oh the car is a 05 s40

I'm not privy to S40 so I can only assume that the proximity switch, micro switch or whatever the switch/sensor needs to be adjusted to the correct height?
