I had two codes come up, Bank 1 Sensor 1 O2 sensor, and I also have a Camshaft position sensor code.
I just replaced my upstream O2 sensor and want to reset the codes. to make sure I'm now only dealing with the camshaft position code.
How can I reset?

Most OBD2 code readers should do it.

Autozone, Advance, etc can erase the code for you free.

If you have some cash go for a Harbor Freight el cheapo OBD-II reader. If no Harbor Freight nearby then your local auto parts store has them for a little bit more. The 2001 only needs the simplest one. New Volvos need the CAN BUS compatible readers.

 

Thanks, AutoZone checked the codes for me but is not allowed to clear and reset.

 

The work around is to borrow the reader and erase them yourself. If they won't let you use it without their help then you are stuck with buying one.

Looks like even the cheapest one is CAN compliant.
