Throttle Body Issue
Hey all,
i recently picked up a 2006 Volvo s40 t5 awd. I can’t say it got the best of love but I’m trying to change that. I have already fixed an issue with a misfire and another issue with an oil leak by replacing my oil filter housing unit. Now to the issue I’m not to sure how to go about. Since I got the car and after fixing the misfire issue it the hose that connects to the throttle body keeps popping off. Before changing the oil filter housing it would continue to run and give me an engine code for “air leak between MAF and throttle body” since changing that housing the hose not being on causes a no start condition. It cranks and all that just won’t fully turn over unless I reconnect that hose. Which it will inevitably pop off again once I start driving. I’m still kinda learning how to work on cars so I don’t exactly know what to check into to fix this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
