Turbo replacement???

I have a 2001 S-40 w/ 125,000 miles on it and the turbo just went south.... (bummer). Anybody change one?? Can you tell me how tough it is to do it????? Thanks Greenmudshark

I have changed one on my 850 and it was not hard at all. The s40 has the same setup so it should not be hard either. Have you worked on your car at all before?

is not that hard if u have the skill. the only hard part is if the bolt on the turbo are seized (they usually are), then u may need to drill the stub out (not a fun job).
