so i went over a couple speed bumps that where super bad for my car...... because when i drive now it sounds like something is going to fall off or just break apart when ever i drive over the slightest bump in the road.... any ideas on whats causeing the problem ....... may take it to a shop or dealer..... but i only have like 400 bucks

the sound comes from the front left tire area or somewhere in that area i dont think its the suspension because it doesnt make the noise when i would move the car up and down???

 

sounds bad...have a mechanic look at it..something with your suspension id say...

 

I would say the sway bar bushing might have come apart.

 

i dont have the money to take my car to volvo or other dealers.....
i know i have to have both front tires on the ground or off the ground when dealing with suspension or else theres a risk of getting ****ed up....
i know the sway bar busings arnt that difficult to replace but im kinda clueless on the strut mounts

I had a similar incident, after a quick look underneith, it was my skidplates that lost a screw. Easy fix!
