I am thinking of purchasing a 01 2.4T with the stock stereo (not upgraded) and I was wondering if was any good? I didn't get a chance to listen to it when I drove it. Also, I use to have an 03 and the stereo was stock (but sounded good) but I am not sure if it is the same as the 01. I have read the 01 only came with door speakers (stock) but my 03 had speakers behind the rear headrest as well.

Any Ideas?

I used to have a 2001, s80 t6, with the premium sound, sound was great, but let me tell you that those speakers are 6 years old, so I am not shure if they are still sounding good, you should try them , but i am positive that if you like good sound you will have to replace them to some aftermarket, afeter 6 years they should make some static noise or else.
