Default 05 Door panel removel ??

I have a 2005 S60 that has developed a clunck/knock that seems to be coming from either the inside of the driver's door or possibly the B-pillar area. The noise does not happen everytime I drive but when it does it is only one clunck/knock which makes it very difficult to pinpoint the exact origin. It has me wondering if something has come loose behind the door panel and sliding around. Or, maybe something in the B-pillar, possibly to do with the side airbag system. So, I was wondering how difficult the door panels are to remove? Any special warnings to to know before ripping my car apart?

I have looked under the car and as everyone well knows, there isn't much to see. Very neat and tidy under a Volvo! I tapped on the factory sideskirt just under the door and B-pillar area and kind of wondered if it might be a bit loose and allowing a slight flex in the plastic causing the sound. It only seems to happen while making an initial turn after the car has sat for a period of time. Very weird!!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advise but I don't see a link. Did a search and didn't have any luck. I suppose I'm off to the dealer.

The link was cleverly disguised as the word 'link'. I guess it was not as obvious as doing this:

https://volvoforums.com/forum/showpo...9&postcount=33

But there you go.

Sorry! I have been viewing this on my iPhone and didn't notice the color difference in the word "link". Thanks for your help.
