Hello, I’d Apperciate some answers than can help me fix my shifting problems, mine also shifts hard in the 2nd or 3rd gear, or clunks I’ve read a lot of these forums and know about replacing the servo cover, or the solenoid kit, or the valve body but I don’t know where to get that done or how to even do it myself I don’t know a lot about cars, I live in California by LA & I don’t know where to begin, I don’t want to go to a Volvo dealership and get charged an arm and leg, any help will be appreciated.

 

how many miles? Did you check the fluid level and color? Have you ever had the fluid replaced and checked for any debris? The initial DIY fixes would be to do a drain/fill and clean the contacts on the connectors to the TCU and tranny. Have you scanned for any CEL codes (make sure your OBD2 reader can read transmission codes)?

 

Did you gt it fixed? I had mine replaced about 4 years ago. 2003 s 60.
