I am new here and should introduce myself. I am a first time Volvo owner. I have had various Fords and Vauxhalls over the years. Being self employed the only vehicle I've had for the last ten years was a Transit. I started looking for a car, Focus, Astra, etc., mainly because I thought I couldn't afford a quality car, when an Audi owning friend said "have you considered a Volvo. No, I said and left it at that probably because the motoring media has brainwashed the public into thinking they are boring. I saw my present car, a V60 when I went to a car showroom to view something else. Took it for a test drive and I was sold. Now I am a complete convert and wouldn't buy anything else. My Audi owning friend can't believe the level of equipment for the price.
My question is does anyone know if it is possible to replace just the clear plastic cover on the instrument panel. I have 2 small cracks at the bottom which I can't help but look at. Looking at pix it looks as if there are moulded in clips all around it holding it to the main body but is it welded in also?
