Default Bulb Failure warning

All of my indicator bulbs are working on my 2002 S60, yet I am getting a message saying something along the lines of "INDICATOR BULB FAILURE". The message flickers on and off constantly. My guess is that the flickering might mean that there is a loose connection somewhere.

Has anyone else had this problem and/or does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks

You have 2 bulbs that light up per side correct?

There are three indicator lights per side - one at the front, one at the rear, and one on the side of the car. All are working.

The S60's should have 2 parking lights per side in the rear as far as I can remember.
There should be smaller bulbs that are the parking lights.

I'm dealing with an issue with the indicator lights, not the parking lights.

Then you mean turn signal bulbs? (Blinkers)

If so then check the front sockets the bulbs go into. They are very common to go bad.

Tech: Thanks for the reply. How would I know if the sockets are bad? Like I mentioned, all indicator lights are blinking properly. The issue I have is that even though my indicator bulbs are all working, the information display has an warning saying "INDICATOR BULB FAILURE" which flashes on/off constantly.

Does one side flash faster than the other side?

They have updated sockets.

No, they both flash at the same speed. So you think that the problem is a defective socket?
