Having another problem with my S60. The a/c starts cold, but just a few minutes into the ride, it goes room temp. There's also a leak going to drivers side floor.If anyonecould help, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

 

What color is the fluid?
Do you own a test light?

 

clear, like water. and no i dont own one. Are they expensive?

 

A test light is very cheap. Like $10.00 or less.
Get one and let me know and I will walk you through what to do.

Or find the single wire that goes to the compressor. Test it with the car and A/C working fine. The light should light up. Watch not to go through all the way and ground on the compressor. Just probe in the wirea little to get a connection.
Then drive it till it messes up. When it does see if you still have power at that wire. If you do and the center part by the belt isn't spinning the clutch needs reshimming.
