It will crank.

I don't think I've ever had to replace a cam sensor on a P2 S60. I'd bet it isn't whatever problem you are chasing.

Perhaps not,but THE CAR doesn,t show any codes since none are stored, but it doesn,t crank. It only CRANK if I JUMP the STARTER RELAY,but it doesn,t start. If the starter is bad would it still Crank that way?

The starter is not bad either.

Sounds like an immobilizer issue. You're going to need VIDA to properly diagnose this.

It can,t be that either.I have 3 xtra ones laying around, and tried all of them?Let me ask you is there a way to HARD RESET the car,s computer, without Volvo,s software, from what I read if you unplug the battery and let the power drain completely from the system,it will reset it,but I tried that nothing changed.
Thanks for your answers.

The car doesn't have a separate immobilizer, so you can't have 3 laying around.

Do you get a "Start Prevented Try Again" message?

Edit- now I see your old thread. Is this still your problem?

The car does not have a separate immobilizer. The CEM performs this function. CEMs cannot be swapped.

If you still have your unprogrammed key from July, that's your problem.

But the key worked at first for a day, after the locksmith programmed it worked fine, this is what I don,t understand, anyway I think that you might be correct.I guess I have to contact a new Locksmith(But I thought that you meant the (Immobilizer ANTENNA)many qualified one in Miami, even the Dealer recommend,at least 2 that I know.

Thanks for all your help, once done .I will come back to this thread and let you know what happened.

Yes, the antenna ring can be swapped from car to car.

You'll need VIDA to see if the key is being read.
