Cant get to the headlight?
Just picked up my 2008 S60 and the passenger side low beam bulb went out. I tried to replace and it according to the manual it is very straight forward. But I can't physically get to the bulb, the space between the bulb housing and a black box (containing electronics) is simply too tight to get my hand into it.
I searched the forums and have seen a lot of issues with bulbs blowing frequently on older cars but nobody seemed to have issues replacing the bulbs?
Help! (wife says, I should have bought an Accord, help me out here...

The manual leaves out some important data: To get at the bulbs it is necessary to loosen the bumper casing on that side and drop it down enough to access the four screws that retain the headlamp housing. Remove these and the housing can be moved forward sufficiently to get at the bulbs. Probably a good idea to support the bumper casing and use some padding under the headlamp housing when you pull it forward. On the driver's side, removal of the air filter housing might give you room for access.
Seems like they could have made it a bit easier.

Thanks guys for your support. Something tells me that this was not the last time I came to this forum...
It turned out that my 2008 S60 still has the 4 year warranty on it - which covers bulbs. Who would have thought?
Thanks again
