Check Engine Light On, then Off - Are the codes stored?
Hi,
A few days ago the check engine light came on. Before I could take it to the shop to get the codes pulled, the light went off. It then came back on a few days later and went back out.
My question is, do the codes get "stored" or do they vanish when the check engine light goes out?
I'm hoping its related to the ETM so I can finally take advantage of the recall/extended warranty. Volvo told me they won't replace until check engine is on.
