Metal clacking sound from underneath
I have a 2016 S60 Tr5 Inscription. When I am rolling at under 5 MPH and I am next to a solid wall (like in a drive thru or near a barricade, etc) I can hear a steady, metallic clank coming from under the vehicle. At first I thought maybe it was brake-related but I'm not so sure,,. the brakes still have enough pad left. Does anyone have an idea of what would make this sound? It only happens when in motion and it is a definite metal click that correlates with the speed.
i have a similar thing going on. Mine sounds like a rubbing and grinding when i brake suggesting bad pads. I too have put pads on not long ago and took both wheels off and did a visual and all looks good with plenty of pad. I too am clueless and this would have seemed to be a obvious pad issue----------i got grinding but visually no damage on the rotors. I'll be following your thread.

Can you determine if its one or both sides or front or rear? did you do rear pads recently? wondering if the electronic emergency brake needs to be reset. Have you jacked up the car and manually rotated the wheels to listen/feel for any warping in the rotor? How many miles on the car?
