Default s60 question

I may be testing the waters with a 2006 S60 2.5T. I know very little about these cars other than reviews on line, and I'm impressed with what I've read, particularly thereliability ratings,as well as the 6/60K certified bumber to bumper warranty. Is there anything obscure about these cars that I would need to know? Odd problems? Availability of parts? Ease of maintenance?

Thanks!

Bob C.

Not too much to worry about with the '06. Most of the details have been ironed out. It's the earlier ones you might want to stay away from. I love mine even though its a slug (non-turbo). I will mention this: get yours with all the features you're looking for. It costs WAY too much to have something put on at a later time. Stay ON TOP of the scheduled maintenance. Do that and you should not have issues. As far as maintenance goes, much of it requires specialized equipment found at the dealer and some indie shops. But regular maintenance (oil changes and brakes) aren't hard. If you're serious about buying one then look around for an indie shop that specializes in Volvo and youmight save yourself a huge chunk of cash over the long haul.
