Could be what tech said: tune up?
you said the last one was in April....How many miles since then. It might need a Tune up
Check the spark plug gaps, make sure they are within spec: Gap0.028- 0.032 in. (0.7- 0.8 mm).
If it is not that....Iguess techcan help you again
.
Edit: Tech did metion it is a "normal condition" for manual trans.

The computer adaptives need to be reset. Sometimes if they are not reset the computer will think the part has not been replaced and it will set the code again.
Either the special Volvo setup can reset it or alot of times disconnecting the battery will reset it as well.
Sometimes there is an ECU fuse as well if you pull the fuse and disconnect the power to the ECU it should reset it.

hi i tech
ive pulled the fuse before but only for 15seconds will try disconecting the battery someone said to touch + and - together for 10 seconds is this correct ,another question (u be getting sick of me asking questions ) i have a custom exhaust fitted cat back with free flow mufflers 2.5 " pipe, now i read in a post that your engine needs to be mapped for the exhaust to work wih the engine is this correct ,do you no ware i can get a (think its a lamda sensor or o2 sensor) for the afrs, for my s60 t5 2001 from and sent here
thanks again tech

You can disconnect the battery and touch the terminals together for 5 minutes and try that.
You should not need a tune just for the exhaust.
Are you looking for a guage for reading the AFR's?
If so they are like $400.00 or more. You need to have another O2 sensor bung welded into the exhaust and have a wide band O2 sensor installed with the system.
