Default Is a slight engine vibration normal?

Hi, I have recently bought a 2005 s60 2.5T with 59k miles. Car runs great. When I accelerate at low speeds I feel the engine vibration through the gas pedal. It goes away at higher revs. Is this normal or is it a symptom of worn motor mounts?

Thanks

Rich

I would inspect the motor mounts.

Thanks, are these something a shade tree mechanic can replace or is it a pro job? If so - any idea of costs?

Thanks again for the quick response!

It might be a torque mount which are easy. The hydrolic ones are more complicated but can be done at a home.

Edit check FCPgroton.com for the mounts.

Are the torque mounts located at the top of the engine bay?

Second question: Can you recommend a "maintenance manual" for this car?

Thanks again!!!

There is 1 on top and 1 on the bottom.

Look for a program called Vadis. That will tell you everything. Check ebay for Vadis.
