slight vibration in gas pedal
Hello,
I just bought this car yesterday and have been noticing a slight vibration in the gas pedal at low speeds, it goes away as you speed up to over 20kmh. The vibration is more pronounced if I accelerate very gradually from a stopped position.
I havent had a chance to drive this car too much just yet but the vibration is bothering me...could it be a spark plug issue? The car runs smooth otherwise, idles great and accelerates just fine, although there may be a slight shudder accompanying the pedal(car) vibration until the car shifts into higher gears and speeds up.
Another quick questions...are the injectors a bit loud in these cars, I have an 01 base S60 and the lifters sound a bit loud.
Thanks for your help folks!
Cheers!

I have exactly the same gas pedal vibration on my 2001 S60 non-turbo. Is this something critical to fix (i.e. safety issue or can cause more seriously damage) or I can ignore if it doesn't bother me?
Hi thullz, mingster, and others,
I just posted a thread with almost the same problem with a vibration in the gas pedal on a 2004 S60. Did this get resolved with replacement of an engine mount? Or did you find it was something else? Thanks for any information.

Hi Valiant67,
I didn't do anything to address the problembut haven'texperienced the problem for the last few months. I am not sure if I will replace the engine mount unless the problem comes back and persists.
thanks
Mingster
