Slow start
I have a 2001 volvo s60 and when I'm at a stop light and it turns green and I push on the gas all the way it takes a while to start going forward I've changed the shift solenoids and still does the same thing
does the engine rev up and slowly catch (aka "motorboating") or does the engine spool up slowly? If you have slippage - ie road speed doesn't change directly proportional to engine speed, you have a clutch pack problem - the solenoids change the gears. If it doesn't slip just starts slowly, then you may be starting out in 2nd gear - ie similar to winter mode. Did you scan for any stored transmission fault codes? Any flashing STC/DSTC warnings (skidding car icon) or ABS lights? Wondering if your model requires an adaptive reset/training sequence after the repair...
