Trans problem - Help
Own a 2001 T5 - has run great for 4+ years with 90K on car. Start of March my automatic trans started to slip - very pronounced between 55 -70 miles per hour yet engine and tach don't jump. Received latest software updates and flush ATF - no help. Dealership in nice way saying I have to live with it and tuff - this is hard to believe.
May be unrelated, but at the same time a buzz type of vibration occuring through the pedals.
What should I do? Worried that some day soon trans will drop while on the road.

RE: Trans problem - Help
There really isn't all that much you can do besides replace the trans.
If you just had the Software update done within the past couple of day drive it some and let the Computer re adapt to your driving.
The Dealer is supposed to run an adaption that will take them about 40 minutes to do.
