Default turning shims

My dealer wants to install shims to stop my tire from rubbing the inside of my wheel well. How much will this impact my turning radius?

It affects it alot it already takes about 1 block to make a u-turn.

If those get installed it will take you 3 blocks to make a u-turn.

Thanks. I don' t like the sound of that. Any idea on how many inches/feet are added to the radius? Are there any fixes besides installing shims?

No fixes other than the shims.
Some brands of tires don't rub and some do.

I think you loose about 1/4 of an inch at the rack which adds to alot more at the tires.

Do you know which tire brands don't rub? I have the stock Continentals on it right now. It seems like the dealership should switch out the tires instead of reducing my performance because of Volvo's design flaws.

Sorry I don't off hand.
I believe some have been listed on the forum in the posts that talk about the problem.
