All,

I'm totally clueless about brakes on my S60. How often should the brake pads/rotors be replaced? I think the current set of pads/rotors have about 25,000 miles on them. I'm starting to get a slight vibration during braking and have made an appointment with our local service dealer.. but I hate to say it, I DON'T TRUST THEM AT ALL.

Can someone offer some insight or advice? Thanks!

 

They might last a little longer have them measure them and see if they are within spec's.

 

Don't however let them turn your rotors. Volvo does not recommend this. Tech can clarify why, I just know you're not supposed to do it.

 

They are Cross cut from the Getgo. They don't like to be turned. The will warp twice as much as they will normally and squeel really bad.
