Hi thanks for adding me to the forum. I’m hoping someone can help as I have exhausted all angles. During heavy rain I noticed my drivers side footwell carpet is soaked. RHD car. Have resealed the windscreen as I was advised by a dealer that it’s a common problem. It has no sunroof. Have attempted to drench the area with a hose for 20 minutes with no sign of water entry. The door rubber is in good condition. Have pulled the door trim away and the is no evidence of water damage to trim, so not coming from there. Have removed the plastic plenum and it is dry in that recess area under the screen. Have noticed it’s worse when parked facing downhill. Any Sherlock out there who can give me an idea of where is coming from? Dealer, mechanic stumped. Said they’d need the car for days still no guarantee of finding it but would obviously charge per hour. Car is a 2013 S60 it has 70k kms so it’s not worn out. Thanks for reading.
