Mine was out about 7 months ago, then the front passenger, then the rear passenger. Only my rear driver back light is visible now. I came across a thread on Swedespeed where someone else had the same issue, and the fix was suggested to be hitting the wire harness for the door controls with electrical cleaner, throwing a little dielectric grease on it and plugging it back together.

Default Further to the issue

Car in for routine service - added problem to list - dealer response - only fix is to replace entire switch assembly- $534 ++, not covered under CPO warranty

Raised the issue with Volvo response: "Light bulbs specifically excluded under CPO"

OK - I can see that for headlamp bulbs, interior lights etc. but this is not a replaceable bulb, it's an all-or-nothing sealed assembly - very convenient for manufacturing flow, very discouraging for owner.

This is a relatively new (2015), low mileage (50K) car. I really like it - Volvo Corp - not so much
