Windscreen Washers (and rearview) not working
Hi guys,
2014 V60 D3 RHD
I had weak spray to the screens, but the headlight wahers were OK. Based on old threads on this forum I pulled off the hoses and gave them a good clean and all was well. I pumped all of the clean water out of the bottle with good pressure( took about 8 goes - last one was pump on empty ), then topped up with premixed screen wash. Now I am not getting any response for the front or rear screen wash but the headlights are still OK. Gone to the users manual and checked the fuse (small box under passenger glovebox, fuse #15. It looks OK (clear fuse - 25A?) I don't have any other fuses to replace it with as a test but the strip looks intact. Any ideas of what else to look for before I let the garage sting me for a few bucks for a simple repair.
TIA
Aaron

any signs of washer fluid leaking? did you try turning the ignition on then running the washer to see if you can hear the pump kick on? if so, any signs of fluid leaking out? (in my case, the hose from the washer pump slid off a T-connector so all the fluid ran down the inner fender...) If you used water and it froze, its possible to have a split line too.

Thanks guys,
Got some fuses from Halfords £3.40 for 2, FFS.
There is no sound from the pump except for every 5th pull when the headlight washers pop out. Not getting any fluid leaks. I was concerned about freezing as we are about to have a cold snap here, which is why I pumped out the clean water and refilled with pre-mix.
