Default Brake Calipers...

So I'm thinking of painting my brake calipers and am not sold on what color yet.

The car is black and I'm considering Red, Black, or Blue.

What do you guys think?

I'd use a dark blue if you're going to paint the calipers blue. I've seen a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX with red calipers at a car show and it looked VERY nice. If you want, I'll send you the pic or something.

Im leaning towards red; I think it would look really good on the black car.

A dark blue could be sweet though. Would a royal blue be too much ya think?

I think red would be awesome the more I think about it.

And yeah, unless it's a darker royal blue, I'd say it's too much.

My friend and I are gonna paint ours at the same time. He has a Red 850 wagon and will be painting his red so I think I'm gonna go with the red as well.

The only thing that will be a pain is letting the car sit so they can dry for 24hrs

BTW - Nice verse in the signature

Ha ha, awesome! If I ever paint mine, I think I'll do black because my car is white and I love the black/white contrast. I'm planning to get black rims one of these days too.

Yeah...my dad and I replaced the belts, water pump, thermostat, sparkplugs, and rotated the tires...two weeks. Granted I only had my permit at the time...but I don't think I could survive not driving my car for two weeks.

and thanks!!

What types of rims are you looking at?

These ones from IPD are pretty sweet

idk...I like the Ronal rims they sell on ipd, but they're sold out of the ones in the black finish that I like. The ones from your link are awesome...but I'm looking for more of the shiny/glossy black.

I forgot your car is white

Definitely agree that a more shiny/glossy look would look sick!
