Hello Everyone,

I have a 2000 S70 and yesterday my A/C fan starts slowing down then went to a complete stop. It will not start back up and the LED lights for Air circulation and AC on/off are blinking.

If I turn theignition off then turn the A/C, it will start back upfor a few seconds (3-5 seconds) then stop again. I can hear the compressor kicking in so I am ruling out the AC compressor. Any thought?

 

blower motor and resistor are on there way out. I had a saab 9000 that had the same problem. In the saab the bearing in the fan went first and it took more and more juice to turn it until it finally gave up the ship. Couldn't tell you anything about the s70, but the 9000 was a real fun time[:@]

 

The S70 is pretty easy to change it out on.
It sounds like they are bad to me as well.
