Can U Tell Me How ???

I took my 99 s70 volvo to the dealer for a minor repair and upon finishing, my radio, tape, and cd player wouldn't work !! It was working when I got there

, claimed they did nothing to it. The code I have won't turn it back on, ( bought this car used ) dealer claimed he called volvo people but code he got won't work either ! Don't think he tried at all, no money in it for him !!!! Can U Tell Me How to solve this problem, short of buying a new one ???? Thanks for any suggestions

If it says off now then you need to leave the key in the #1 position for 2 to 5 hours till it says code.
Then take the radio to local dealer and have them give you the radio code.

Tried that already, it won't budge from the off screen, even after leaving it off for 3 hrs, it won't go to code, wonder what's wrong with it ??

It can take up to 5 hours to switch to code.

Thank you for the info, didn't know it could take that long ( 3 to 5 ) hrs to code up the radio, will definitely give it another try, reallllly miss my sound ! Thanks again
