You need to find someone or a shop that can read and clear the codes.

Congrats on the good job!

With the wheel straight through that hole you will see in the white part behind the hole is a groove. Put the screw through the hole and into the groove and that will lock it in place.

Also after the screw is removed it is a good idea to use a marker and make a line from the steering wheel to the center shaft to mark the wheel for putting it back on.
I have the small screw in place through the hole at the top right above the 18 MM Bolt. But now that that's "pinned" there, I can't remove the steering wheel - UNLESS - I unplug the green connector on the back of the horn/airbag part of the wheel.
Is that what I'm supposed to do now? Unplug the green connector after it's pinned to the ... hole?
(Are we just pinning that orange cable to the 'steering column', and it says behind without the wheel when you remove the wheel?)

PS: by this: "Also after the screw is removed it is a good idea to use a marker and make a line from the steering wheel to the center shaft to mark the wheel for putting it back on"

-do you mean, mark under the 18mm bolt where the outer part of the spline would line up/meet the inner spline? So you put it back in the 'exact' same place/rotation later?

Thanks for any help tech.

Been awhile since i took it off but you should make the wheel where it connects, its going to be * (star) looking. so just make the rivets up so when your put the wheel back on it slides in the same position it was in before

hope that helps any..

Yes you have to unplug the air bag. The screw will hold the contact reel from spinning.
Yes mark under the 18MM screw.
