Well two parts to this one lol. I have a 98 base model s70. Here is the weird part today in the morning it didn't start. Everything is cranking and turning but there is not official start. Battery is brand new and the starter is working. I waited a couple of minutes and a couple of tries and later it started. It happened one other time but that time it started pretty fast. Also after that the car starts up with out a problem in later times. The car is out in the cold and there is a check engine light but that's for the fan that keeps blowing. When I remove the fuse and put it back in the light goes off.

Now the second part. Any ideas were I can get some performance parts for the base model?

That I don't remember. And you are talking about the trouble code for the engine light correct?
