I need to remove the center AC vent in the upper dash to fix the vanes. Does it all just pop out as one unit or are there clips/fastners/screws etc that need to be removed before I start yanking on it? It looks like it'll just pop out.

Tip the vent downwards and pull it out of its location. Alternatively, it can be levered out from the side with a screwdriver.
