Default Headlight replacement

I've got a driver's side lowbeam light out. Are those easy to replace? What should I replace it with?

Yes they are easy to replace. And you should replace it with whatever is the OEM bulb. Buy it at Advanced Auto Parts or something similar. It should be an H7 bulb.

Instructions?
1. Unlock your car.

2. Open the drivers side door.

3. Pull the hood release lever.

4. Open your hood.

5. Remove the low beam drivers side dust cap. It unscrews.

6. Look inside and you will see that the bulb is held in place with a clip. Don't remove it just yet. There is a black conneter that the bulb is plugged into. Remove this black connecter. You will see two wires coming out of it. Just pull it off, it might be hard to do.

7. Once you have done number 6, remove the clip holding the bulb in place. Then the bulb should come right out.

8. Insert new bulb.

9. Put clip back in place.

10. Reconnect the connector

11. Put the dust cap back on.

12. Start the car. Check if new bulb is working. If so close the hood and your ready to go.

If the car is already unlocked should he lock it first so he can unlock it?

Just kidding. I have found that when one of my bulbs burn out, it not much longer before the other side burns out too. Might as well buy a two pack and replace both of them.

I agree.

My dad has a burned out passenger side low beam and then a few days to a week later the drivers side went out.
