RE: my antenna hasnt been going up
I have the same problem on both my sedans. Here is a link to directioons on how to chamge the mast. It's a pretty common problem.. I had it done two or three times on my 94 850.

I bought my antenna mast and eeuroparts.com for $11.90. ($18.18 with shiping)
If your motor sounds like its working its probably the mast.
You just unscrew the nut around it, pull out the old antenna with the plastic toothed cable. Then have someone inside the car turn on and off the radio to feed the new mast and cable back into the motor. On mine the teeth faced the front of the car.
I couldn't feed it all at once, I had my wife turn the radio on then back off real quick to feed it farther down till it was all the way in. Works great now.

This may be because the leader is broken. The leader is the piece of flexible nylon cord inside the antenna mast, which when moved by the motorized reel, forces the antenna to telescope up or down. Try to check it out, ’coz I have the same problem with my Honda antenna mast, and I’ve tried also to lubricate it but didn’t work also and I find out that it’s not the problem…
