Default Neverending problem.

So for the past few months I have had the CEL code for "Large EVAP leak" (I can never remember the actual number) and I've been trying a few different things. I've gotten three new gas caps and replaced two or three vacuum elbow joints. What can be the source of this code? It's getting to be VERY irritating. I prefer to do the work myself with my dad...but since he's about to have knee surgery and I'm a novice...I'm tempted to just put my car in the shop.

check the large hoses at the evap canister. check the hard nylon line just behind the power steering rack, sometimes the rubber hose joint cracks. check to make sure the evap valve isn't sticking.

Sounds like you have a hose disconnected somewhere. Look for a parts diagram then follow them in your car.

All the diagrams I've found aren't that great/detailed...do you know of any really good quality diagrams?
