Hello everyone, I am a new user and I just wanted to start by saying hello. I just recently bought a '98 S70 and started noticing an oil leak. After some investigating I found the problem to be coming from the oil pump. The first reason I suspect it is because there is stress cracks beginning to form. When I took it apart I notice there is alot of play in the gear and signs of burned oil. Not sure if it was run low oin oil or just run hot or both. I am pretty sure I need a new oil pump and I am having trouble finding one. I did located some on the internet for around $240 but I was trying to see if maybe I can find a cheaper route. Not one junkyard in a 100 miles radius of me has a volvo ( I guess that says alot). If anyone happens to have an extra let me now, I'd be interested in purchasing it.
