I had a problem with my powersteering fluid being low after driving for a day. I filled the fluid and the next day it was low again. I looked under the car and it was leaking fluid from the boot on the power steering rack on the right side. Does this mean the power steering rack is bad?
I ordered a rebuilt one from fcp groton for $250. Does anybody know how much it would costfor labor to install the new Rack?

It will be 3-5 hours shop time. I had to do this one mine, but I bought a used one for $100 from a local wrecking yard. I think it was $300 something for the install, or more, cant really remember.

 

Yes about 3 to 5 hours is a good ballpark range.
