Running serpentine belt without ac
If you can find the size and physically get it on there, it'll be okay. It's a waste of time so long as the compressor pulley bearing is good, and so it doesn't get talked about much. If the compressor is locked up and it still turns on, you can just unplug the clutch.
I was pondering: some Wrangler JK online retailers say "with cooling". Does it intend that there are two distinct serpentine belts? Will that one work on the off chance that a Wrangler JK doesn't have A/C?

However, there are a few potential downsides to consider:
- Engine Performance: Rerouting the belt may alter the tension and alignment, potentially affecting the performance of other components driven by the belt.
- Belt Wear and Tear: Improper routing can lead to increased wear and tear on the belt, causing it to wear out more quickly.
- Potential Fit Issues: Finding the correct belt length for a rerouted path can be challenging. Using the wrong size can cause improper tension and further issues.
- Resale Value: Modifying the serpentine belt system might negatively impact the vehicle's resale value, as it deviates from the manufacturer's original design.
- Other Component Damage: The modification may lead to additional strain on other components, potentially causing damage over time.
