S70 Headlight lens
Hey Guys,
Here's a dumb thing and a half. Some idiot backed into my s70 and broke the left headlight lens, and ofcourse left without a trace, hence the name calling. The dumb thing is, Volvo dealerships in Canda do not carry the headlight lens! They want you to buy the whole assmebly for $427/- plus tax, when the lens alone is around $100. Their excuse, "It's not available in this market", as per 4 dealerships I called.
Isn't it strange that Volvo manufactures the OEM headlight with a lens that can be easily taken off by removing the brackets, and the rubber beeding can be replaced as well, and they don't market it in Canada? Most other brands (BMW for example) has a glued lens, which is a bitch to replace (ask me, I did), and still sell the lens? Sorry guys, I may sound a little bitter, damage to the light was bad, Volvo's stupidy is worse. Long live ebay!!
Thanks
