Default turbo question

I have been getting some parts off a 99 GLT at the yard this week as its fairly complete or was..till me.

it just occured to me it still has the turbo on it.

I know its a different turbo than my T5 s70 but does it have any use? what I am asking is could I get it and maybe have it rebuilt to use on my car sooner or later or something like that?

I am just wondering if its good for anything other than throwing it on another GLT.

I would get it and rebuild it if I could use it that way if mine has a problem I can just swap it out.

I am new to turbo cars so I am just thinking pro active here.

The GLT turbo is smaller. Not worth your time or effort.
